Description: Beautiful about uncirculated gold coin from Parma Italy. This is the 1815 forty Lire showing the crowned head of Maria Luigia, Napoleon Bonaparte's ex-wife, on the obverse and crowned arms on the reverse. The obverse shows the bust of Maria Luigia facing left with the legend MARIA LUIGIA PRINC.

D'AUSTRIA along the edge surrounding the bust an the date 1815 below the bust all on the obverse. The reverse shows a crowned mantled shield with the denomination "40 LIRE" below it. The arms is surrounded by the legend PER LA GR. Along the edge of the coin. The coin is grade about Uncirculated AU50 by NGC and comes in a plastic holder so labeled.
