ESTATE ROBERTO COIN 7-1/8 18K YELLOW GOLD DIAMOND & ONYX BRACELET. Repetitive Cast-Link Bracelet by Robert Coin, Containing Seventy Diamonds and Five Black Onyxes. The boldly-textured yellow metal bracelet is 7-1/8 inches long and has a gross weight of 26.90 pennyweights. The hollow open links alternate in design from horizontal multi-row twisted-wire-like repetitive designs to vertical multi-row twisted-wire-like repetitive designs.
Five matching stations containing the gemstones are mounted throughout the length of the bracelet. The width of the bracelet ranges from 12.00 mm to 10.50 mm. On the tongue of the hidden box clasp is the inscription - "ITALY 18Kt (star)1226VI".
On the plunger of the clasp is a rectangular, step-cut, chipped, approximately 3.50 x 2.00 mm, synthetic ruby. Seventy (70) brilliant-cut round have a total weight of 0.85 carat, per Hauser's Jewelers.
They range in approximate diameter from 1.49 to 1.51 mm, they have an approximate color grade of G, and they range in clarity from VVS1 through VS1. Rhodium plated bead prongs secure these diamonds in pairs of single rows of seven that flank five (5), approximately 10.50 x 3.50 mm, opaque, black onyxes. Two bar prongs secure each of the convex-top rectangular onyxes. The bracelet weighs approximately 41.8 grams.The bracelet is marked Roberto Coin Italy 18Kt. This item appears to be in very good pre-owned condition. It will come in a box that shows some light signs of wear from storage.
